The annual summer camp of the Syrian Civil Scouts kicked off today with the participation of more than 500 scouts from various branches across the country. The camp, which is being held this year in the mountainous region of Bloudan, aims to promote the values of cooperation, discipline and self-reliance among participants through a variety of educational and recreational activities.
The camp program included workshops on first aid, life skills and camping, in addition to sports competitions and group games aimed at enhancing team spirit. Discussion sessions were also organized on the importance of volunteer work and contributing to community service.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Civil Scouts expressed his happiness with the level of interaction and enthusiasm shown by the scouts, noting that these activities enhance the spirit of citizenship and belonging among young people and contribute to preparing a generation capable of taking responsibility.
The camp is expected to last for two weeks, with the activities concluding with an awards ceremony and honoring of those who excelled in various activities.
